Vodafone's catch to unlimited call offer in Newzeland

Vodafone is in danger of breaching advertising standards for its new home phone device if it doesn't declare a catch in its offer of unlimited calls.

Industry observers will be watching closely to see how Vodafone advertises its service, soft-launched through the media this week."If it's unlimited, it should be able to run 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. They are saying you can't do that because it's subject to a fair use policy," he said.

Vodafone at home will sell in three stores in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Advertising is expected to kick in later this year.
